The Gospel of John
The Gospel of John differs from the three synoptic Gospels of the New Testament bible in that its emphasis is on the theological purpose of Jesus as the son of God, and the mystical significance of the relationship between the Son and Father.
For this reason, many have looked to the Gospel of John to support the significance of the Holy Trinity, a theological consideration that has emerged in consideration of the Jesus tomb. Recently, scholars have suggested that it may be possible to extend these relations further, if Jesus himself had a son who was present at the crucifixion alongside Mary Magdelene:
"Dear woman, here is your son" (John 19: 26) and to the disciple, "Here is your mother" (John 19:27).
