Catholic theologians claim that with the development of the primacy in the Middle Ages, the papal letters grew enormously in number (C.E. 6, 202). “There can be no doubt that during a great part of the Middle Ages papal and other documents were fabricated in a very unscrupulous fashion” (C.E. 3, 57). Speaking of the thousands of miraculous relics of Rome, the same scholars admit that “the majority of which no doubt were fraudulent,” a “multitude of unquestionably spurious relics” (C.E. 12, 737). The same scholars admit the following Roman frauds: the origin of the Rosary and the apparition of Mary to St. Dominic, the Scapular and the apparition of Mary to Simon Stock, the Scala Santa, the legends and relics of Veronica, the Holy Lance etc…
[23] Official Catholic records provide extraordinary confessions of wickedness in the whole Catholic clergy, and the implications surrounding this knowledge begin to assume major new proportions when considered in light of the central church claim of unquestionable piety in the clergy hierarchy.

[25] Now did Christianity have aught to do with the civilization of this people ? Certainly not; and were it not for the cloud of prejudice before his eyes, the Christians would clearly see that it did not produce our civilization. He wvould see that instead of the church having civilized the world, the Rationalistic world has for centuries been slowly civilizing the church.
The very nature of Christianity--I mean orthodox Christianity - precludes the possibility of progression as an inherent principle of itself; and whatever progress has been made, either in the church or outside of it, must be attributed to causes over which she has had no control. The church claims to have the truth, the whole truth, and nothing but the truth. Every proposed change, every new discovery, is to her a perversion of truth, and, hence, she opposes it. Were the church to sweep to universal empire, all progress would at once cease. Our Huxleys and Haeckels would be summarily disposed of, the torch of Reason would be extinguished, and the ignis-fatuus of Faith would become our only guide. Of the truth of this she has herself given conclusive evidence. For centuries her power in Europe was supreme, and even Christian writers denommate these centuries the Dark Ages.
Not until Rationalism was born, not until science commenced her career, and Christianity began to decay, did our modern civilization dawn. "For more than three centuries, " says Lecky, "the decadence of theological influence has been one of the most invariable signs and measures of our progress." Says Carlyle, "Just in the ratio that knowledge increases, faith diminishes." "The Middle Ages were more religious than ours," says Strauss, "in proportion to their ignorance and barbarism. Religion and civilization accordingly occupy, not an equal, but an inverted position regarding each other, so that with the progress of civilization, religion retreats."
[26] Virtually no one really reads the Bible. The above mentioned individual doubtless has a Bible, perhaps the only book he owns, but he never reads it - much less reads all of it.
If an intelligent man should critically read it all, he would certainly reject it.

I am not saying anything that is news to Protestants. There is no conversion without crisis, no conversion without suffering. Conversion is a process whereby one assimilates suffering to a new meaning-structure and thus makes it meaningful...
Isn’t it curious that Christ cannot be prached to people who feel secure and happy, to people who feel that life is worth living, to people who are not going through a crisis? Isn’t it odd that Christ can only be proclaimed and made meaningful in morbid situations where people are infected with existential anxiety, guilt feelings, and terror of death? What really is the task of the evangelists? His or her task is to give theological names to a crisis that could well be psychosocial in origin. The evangelist seeks to activate a crisis which might not have been sensed befored, so that then, and only then, he or she can proclaim that “Christ is the answer.”
We are forced to conclude that the world makes room for Christ only when it feels ill, when it has come down with some sickness. Is there some theological reason why dread of death and guilt are the privileged sacraments of salvation? To put it another way, the experience of conversion presupposes that the meeting-point between God and the world is suffering and anguish – the world’s state of pain and sickness. When there is health and happiness, language about God loses its meaningfulness. Isn’t there a sadomasochistic vision of reality buried underneath such presupposition?
Suffering is transformed into a blessing, because it provides an opportunity for the sinner to encounter Christ. The greater the suffering, the greater the opportunities for evangelists! Doesn’t that suggest that the Church is being put in the curious position of praying for more human suffering so that human hearts will be more receptive to its message? That was a question which Dietich Bonhoeffer posed to the Church.
What do the apologists for the Christian faith, the bearers of the “good news” really do?
They demonstrate to secure, content, happy mankind that it is really unhappy and desperate, and merely willing to realize that it is in severe traits it knows nothing at all about, from which only they can rescue it. Wherever there is health, strength, security, simplicity, they spy luscious fruit to gnaw at or to lay their pernicious eggs in. They make it their object first of all to drive men to inward despair, and then it is all theirs (Bonhoeffer).
Conversion is a solution to a painful problem. One starts from conversion to structure a world whose function is to prevent the reappearance of anxiety. The aim is the exorcism of the terror. Now if the conversion has proved adequate in exorcising this terror, consciousness will be firmly glued to that conversion-experience and its attendant cognitive worldview. That is why arguments won’t work at this level. You may offer all sorts of evidence – logical, scientific, or whatever – to call to convert’s basic experience into question. It will immediately and flatly rejected by the convert.
[30] The situation of the new converts is akin to that of children going to school for the first time. They know nothing. Knowledge will be mediated to them by a person who has knowledge. The learning process is a process of apprenticeship. The social interaction between two parties involved is not an interaction between equals. Master and apprentice, teacher and learner, are not the same level. One is subordinate to the other; hence power is involved in the equation. The teachers are those who have the power to impose their definition of reality; the learners are those who do not have the power to maintain their definition of reality..
Even before new converts learn anything about the world, they are taught to view themselves as people who know nothing. Their own knowledge is placed between parentheses and called into doubt. It is not permissible for them to appeal to what they think they know in order to criticize the knowledge that the church community wishes to transmit to them. Why? Because their knowledge is a heritage from their earlier period of darkness and damnation. Their minds are reduced to blank pages. They have nothing to say; their job is to listen. As apprentices and learners, they must submit silently to the church institution. They now know that the institution has the monopoly on absolute knowledge, hence a monopoly on the right to talk.
In the Protestant world, then, the learning process begins with a lesson in a particular kind of social relationship: the teachers speaks, the learners keep quiet; the teachers teach, the learners repeat. If the learners do not know what they believe, they are not qualified to speak. It is true that the converts are free to sing their emotions. But the discourse of knowledge is still impossible. This is why the proper mode of speech for the learners is repetition, as catechisms clearly illustrate. Catechisms are primers for apprentice-learners. They contain questions and ready-made answers. When do learners know their catechism? When they can recite by heart the printed answers in it. The learning of the church community is defined in terms of that knowledge, and the test of learning is the ability to memorize and repeat the catechism questions and answers. In this way the collective conscience of the community is imprinted as truth on the mind and conscience of the individual member. What about free inquiry? What about let the converts break their own ground? That is nowhere to be found.

In your post “CHRISTIANITY” you presented the opinions of many , [I think they are mostly Christians], and they brought the truth about this religion in which any person with open mind will come to know by reading the Bible and the gospels, an knowing the history of this religion the CHRISTIANITY.
CHRISTIANITY was created and developed by the people who run the churches after the death of Jesus, and all that started by one big lie which came from Paul, and one lie after another, and they forced the people to accept the church teaching, and anyone who question them will be jailed, killed, and even burned alive !!!. And that is fact, and the truth, but [“people are stupid”- as put by ,S.T. Joshi] , and he is right.
Anyone who believe in the trinity formula as the father is god, and the son is god, and the holy spirit is god, but those THREE gods are only one god, which makes the son as the father himself, even the son was born to a woman, and put on dipper, and eats, drinks, get drunk and go to toilet, and have brothers and sisters, uncles aunts etc., etc, and this man is the god who created the universe, that is for sure that person who live in the 21st century, and who believe that such a person is god is stupid.
V V K, I do agree with what came in your post from 1 to 30, but what came in 31 and 32 does not hold the truth, let me bring these two line and see what they represent. Start with last first:

A: A number of Muslims believe that the Qur'an contains scientific information that would be discovered by the world in modern times, centuries after their revelation. These are claimed to include scientific information pertaining to creation, astronomy, the animal and vegetable kingdoms, and human reproduction.[1]
One such claim is based on an interpretation of the passage in the Qur'an which states: "Have not those who disbelieve known that the heavens and the earth were of one piece, then We parted them",[Quran 21:30] as representing the Big bang.[1] Another is the Qur'anic verse, "After that (Allah) spread the Earth out (dahaha: from the verb 'daha')" [79:30] has been interpreted as foreshadowing the modern concept that the figure of the Earth has an ellipsoid shape. Kamel Ben Salem's explanation for this is that "the ancient exegetes had earlier explained the Arabic verb (dahaha) by (has flattened it)" but that "the origin of this verb is found in the word (Ud-hiya)," which means "egg of ostrich," thus "the Earth would look like an ostrich’s egg."[11] Rashad Khalifa alternatively translated the verse as: "he made the earth egg-shaped."[12]
Pervez Hoodbhoy, a Pakistani high energy physicist, has written exhaustively on the phenomenon of pseudoscience based on Quranic scripture in the Muslim world, ranging from claims that Einstein's Theory of relativity proves the existence of heaven in Islam, to claims that, according to the Quran, nuclear energy comes from Genies.[13] He observes that the prevalence of such pseudoscientific concepts has led to significant decline in scientific output from Muslims since the distant past.[13] Hoodbhoy's book "Islam and Science: Religious Orthodoxy and the Battle for Rationality", provides more details about the rise of such kinds of pseudoscience promoted by Wahhabists such as claims of the Quran containing "scientific miracles" and the Islamic creationism of Harun Yahya.[14]

Her husband was not at home and the two children, a boy of four years and a girl of 22 months were beaten up and locked inside the house. The police later said Anita must have run away on her own as her character "would be like that", said a statement from the AHRC.
The statement said the abductor's lawyer produced a Muslim marriage certificate in a court, and the latter announced that she had embraced Islam by marrying a Muslim man.
Forced conversion of Hindu women to Islam in Sindh province has become very common, it said.
"The malicious campaign is in full swing by the religious seminaries, and their modus operandi is to use students of the seminaries to abduct young women and rape them in captivity. And when it is identified that the girl has been abducted, they announce that the victim is married and has embraced Islam."
"If her embracement to Islam through abduction and rape was recognised by the courts and courts were happy to see her as converting to Islam, then why have the courts not seen the fundamental requirements of Islam? May be laws are different for different occasions or may be Hindus are not treated as citizens of Pakistan," it said.
"The way in which the case of Anita was treated in the High and Supreme Court was no more different from the ordinary jirga or panchayat, where the elders of tribes sit down and decide the case on the basis of personal liking or disliking."

Lauren Booth converted to Islam after visiting the Mosque in Iran, It's change her. but she does not mention clearly what is it. It's
a personal choice, she pick whatever best for her. It's great. I'm happy for all them. every one have their own free will.
It's not only major religion but also some religion with very little follower in the world , i'm respect all. Because in their theory have some good teaching. and people have good chance to know but not the others or it make sense with them may not with others, it's the best religion for them to follow may not to others. it's never bother me at all. I gowned up in former French colony country. I understand good and bad sides of Christianity very well. But i do not talk much about them . because now none of them in this forum . sometime only Indie ( i don't know what is her religion) but all her write sound very friendly and never apply any thing to others.

Priests. While the number of priests in the United States more than doubled to 58,000, between 1930 and 1965, since then that number has fallen to 45,000. By 2020, there will be only 31,000 priests left, and more than half of these priests will be over 70.
Ordinations. In 1965, 1,575 new priests were ordained in the United States. In 2002, the number was 450. In 1965, only 1 percent of U.S. parishes were without a priest. Today, there are 3,000 priestless parishes, 15 percent of all U.S. parishes.
Seminarians. Between 1965 and 2002, the number of seminarians dropped from 49,000 to 4,700, a decline of over 90 percent. Two-thirds of the 600 seminaries that were operating in 1965 have now closed.
Sisters. In 1965, there were 180,000 Catholic nuns. By 2002, that had fallen to 75,000 and the average age of a Catholic nun is today 68. In 1965, there were 104,000 teaching nuns. Today, there are 8,200, a decline of 94 percent since the end of Vatican II.
Religious Orders. For religious orders in America, the end is in sight. In 1965, 3,559 young men were studying to become Jesuit priests. In 2000, the figure was 389. With the Christian Brothers, the situation is even more dire. Their number has shrunk by two-thirds, with the number of seminarians falling 99 percent. In 1965, there were 912 seminarians in the Christian Brothers. In 2000, there were only seven. The number of young men studying to become Franciscan and Redemptorist priests fell from 3,379 in 1965 to 84 in 2000.
Catholic schools. Almost half of all Catholic high schools in the United States have closed since 1965. The student population has fallen from 700,000 to 386,000. Parochial schools suffered an even greater decline. Some 4,000 have disappeared, and the number of pupils attending has fallen below 2 million – from 4.5 million.
Though the number of U.S. Catholics has risen by 20 million since 1965, Jones' statistics show that the power of Catholic belief and devotion to the Faith are not nearly what they were.
Catholic Marriage. Catholic marriages have fallen in number by one-third since 1965, while the annual number of annulments has soared from 338 in 1968 to 50,000 in 2002.
Attendance at Mass. A 1958 Gallup Poll reported that three in four Catholics attended church on Sundays. A recent study by the University of Notre Dame found that only one in four now attend.
Only 10 percent of lay religious teachers now accept church teaching on contraception. Fifty-three percent believe a Catholic can have an abortion and remain a good Catholic. Sixty-five percent believe that Catholics may divorce and remarry. Seventy-seven percent believe one can be a good Catholic without going to mass on Sundays. By one New York Times poll, 70 percent of all Catholics in the age group 18 to 44 believe the Eucharist is merely a "symbolic reminder" of Jesus.
At the opening of Vatican II, reformers were all the rage. They were going to lead us out of our Catholic ghettos by altering the liturgy, rewriting the Bible and missals, abandoning the old traditions, making us more ecumenical, and engaging the world. And their legacy?
Four decades of devastation wrought upon the church, and the final disgrace of a hierarchy that lacked the moral courage of the Boy Scouts to keep the perverts out of the seminaries, and throw them out of the rectories and schools of Holy Mother Church.
Through the papacy of Pius XII, the church resisted the clamor to accommodate itself to the world and remained a moral beacon to mankind. Since Vatican II, the church has sought to meet the world halfway.

The answer is, that many Christian scholars came to find out the truth about the Bible when they came to study the 5700 manuscripts in the Greek language and to find that they are full of contradictions and errors, and they talk about it in open and they wrote many books telling the truth about the Bible and the Gospels, which been noticed by many and open the the eyes of many Christians that what they believe in is no more than what some scribes wrote in which the truth been covered or switched, as we will see in the next lines.

According to reports, a Kuwaiti royal prince has become a follower of Jesus Christ. In an audio file posted with his name, he affirms that if he is killed because of a recording he made where he talks about his conversion, he firmly believes that he will meet Jesus Christ face-to-face. The news comes from Middle Eastern sources which state that al-Haqiqa – a Christian satellite TV channel in Arabic that transmits Christian religious programmes – broadcast an audio file attributed to the Kuwaiti prince, identified as Abdullah al-Sabah. The al-Sabahs are the royal family of Kuwait, a country rich in oil. The name Abdullah (servant of God) frequently appears in the Emir’s family tree.
In his audio file, Abdullah declared: “First of all, I fully agree with the distribution of this audio file and I now declare that if they kill me because of it, then I will appear before Jesus Christ and be with him for all eternity.” In this statement, the prince demonstrates his awareness of the fate in store for a martyr of the faith, according to Christian doctrine. The television channel stated that Abdullah is a member of the royal family, and that he recently renounced his faith in Islam and became a Christian, without specifying which particular branch of Christianity he had chosen. After stating his full name, the prince declared: “I will accept whatever they do to me, because the truth in the Bible has guided me towards the right path.”
In the audio file, Abdullah talks about the Islamic groups that are winning the elections in Egypt and declares: “Islamic communities have always wanted to attack in different parts of the world but God has preserved the world and still protects it. This is why we have recently seen disagreements appearing among Islamic groups who are now fighting with each other. They are about to divide further into different groups.”
Mohabat News, a Christian Iranian website which has been following the fate of Christian minorities in the Middle East closely and which has monitored Abdullah’s statement, confirms that this news was published briefly by Arabic news agencies and also by the Iranian state news agency. Some independent websites with Shiite leanings denied the reports and quoted another Kuwaiti prince, Azbi al-Sabah, who said: “There’s no one by that name in the Kuwaiti royal family.” In actual fact, the name Abdullah does not appear on the list of the 15 members of the royal family who rule this small, extremely wealthy country in different capacities: from the Sheikh down to Princess Nijirah al-Sabah, who testified in the US Congress under the assumed name of "Nurse Nayirah" on the humanitarian situation in the country after the invasion by Saddam Hussein’s Iraq and just before the Gulf War. That isn’t to say that this high-profile convert is not hidden somewhere within the extended family, under a different name.
In Kuwait the overwhelming majority of the population is Muslim (only 4% is Christian) and the country’s Constitution states: “Islam is the official religion of the country and Sharia is the main source for legislation.”
As is well known, the problem of conversions from Islam to other religions is a recurring problem in relationships between followers of the Prophet and other faiths and it is a very serious problem in all countries where the majority of the population is Muslim, even those that at first sight would seem socially progressive. The problem has always been there, but in the last few years the majority religion has become more sensitive in towards the increased evangelical activity being carried out, not so much by “traditional” Christian religions who have always been used to the insurmountable limits of living alongside Muslims, but rather by Protestant faiths.
These seem to be enjoying enormous success – not just in Kuwait; it’s likely that the mysterious prince could be one of their followers – but also in countries that are definitely more mistrustful, such as the theocratic Iran of the ayatollahs.
After Heidar Moslehi, the Iranian intelligence minister, asked Muslim seminaries to become proactive in stopping the spread of Christianity, a high-ranking cleric declared that Evangelical Christianity is the most horrifying intelligence and security organisation in the world. This statement seems to have appeared on press agencies close to the Revolutionary Guard.
In a conference on “New Age cults” held in Varamin, a district south of Teheran, Akhond Mohsen Alizadeh declared: “We should not allow these cults to question Islamic jurisprudence under the cover of mysticism.” He went on to add: “They tell the youth that God is wrathful and horrible in Islam but is love in Christianity. Also, Christian preachers answer the questions and doubts of youth in their own interest and try to attract them.” Nevertheless a whole series of signs seem to indicate that non-traditional Christianity – there are Catholics and Orthodox Christians in Iran as well as a large Armenian community – is spreading. The regime’s press recently spoke of them with concern and the number of cases of repression and condemnation following conversions is growing.
