The Hebrew word for “Lord,” and one of the most common Jewish names for God.
Alexander
Best known as “ Alexander the Great,” was king of Macedonia 356-323 BCE. Alexander was an inspired leader, master strategist and economically shrewd.
Analysis
Is the process of studying and classifying artefacts, either on site , or in a laboratory after excavation has been completed.
Archaeology / archaeology
A scientific process of analyzing the material remains of sites and artefacts of cultures from the past.
Archaeological site
The physical location, where human activity occurred and material remains were deposited.
Artefact
A historical object made, modified, or used by people
Baphomet
A symbol of worship depicted as a goat's head is drawn within the star.
Baptism
A process of ritualistic cleansing that involves the either the immersion or sprinkling of water on the person to be baptized.
Bible
A source of reference for Christian faith, each bible is composed of the Old Testament, which tells the faith history of ancient Israel until the building of its second temple; the Apocrypha, which tells the political history of Israel, and the New Testament, which tells the story of Jesus Christ.
Body of Christ
This often refers to the physical body of Yeshua of Nazareth Other times; it refers to the "invisible church" which is made up of true Christians.
