Title: Can we trust the Qur'an ? •

Q: Since we came to ask the question, "Can we trust the Bible ?" , it is fair to ask the same question about the Qur'an.
As I brought several CHRISTIAN scholars opinion about the Bible, I am bringing the opinion of several CHRISTIAN scholars about the Qur'an.
I will start with Dr. Maurice Bucaille.
Maurice Bucaille (19 July 1920 in Pont-L'Eveque, France- 17 February 1998[1]), son of Maurice and Marie (James) Bucaille,[2] was a French medical doctor, member of the French Society of Egyptology and an author. Bucaille practiced medicine from 1945-82 and was a specialist in gastroenterology.
The Bible, The Qur'an and ScienceIn 1976, he published his book, The Bible, The Qur'an and Science which argued that the Qur'an contains no statements contradicting established scientific fact.[4] In 1991, another book by Bucaille, Mummies of the Pharaos: Modern Medical Investigations, was published in English.
In his book, The Bible, The Qur’an and Science, Bucaille aims to PROVE THE QUR'AN IS IN AGREEMENT WITH SCIENTIFIC FACTS, WHILE THE BIBLE IS NOT. He claims that in Islam, science and religion have always been “twin sisters” (vii). According to Bucaille, there are monumental errors of science in the Bible and not a single error in the Qur'an, whose descriptions of natural phenomena make it compatible with modern science. Bucaille concludes that the Qur’an is the reliable word of God.
Bucaille argues that the Old Testament should have been distorted because of numerous translations and corrections as it was transmitted orally. He highlights, in his words, “numerous disagreements and repetitions”, in the Old Testament and the Gospels. In his analysis, Bucaille claims he makes use of many propositions of Biblical criticism, such as the documentary hypothesis.
With regard to the Qu’ran, Bucaille however followed the Islamic tradition that the Qur'anic scrolls are said to be collected during Muhammad’s lifetime and were deemed accurate by the archangel Gabriel himself (132). Some references claimed that he is not a Muslim[5][6]. However, according to an interview at the Islamic Bulletin Website, he declared that the Qur'an was the word of God revealed to Mohammed. He also said that he did devote himself to discuss all problems from purely academic angle, to be treated by the world as an academician rather than a theologian.

****SCIENTISTS ESTIMATED THAT THERE ARE ABOUT 200 BILLION GALAXIES IN THE UNIVERSE.
1400 years ago the Quran gave this information:
Q- 65:12 IT IS GOD WHO CREATED SEVEN HEAVENS AND OF THE EARTH, LIKE OF THEM.
It is clear in this verse that there are other planets like the earth. These are not the knowledge of Muhammad or any other person of that time.
Now we came to know these facts, WHY?
Because the Quran said:
Q- 38:88 AND YOU WILL SURELY KNOW THE TRUTH OF ITS INFORMATION AFTER TIME.
Now let us compare this knowledge which been given to us by the QURAN , with some of the knowledge that came by the BIBLE.
Order of creation
Here is the order in the first (Genesis 1):
Day 1: Sky, Earth, light
Day 2: Water, both in ocean basins and above the sky
Day 3: Plants
Day 4: Sun, Moon, stars (as calendrical and navigational aids)
Day 5: Sea monsters (whales), fish, birds, land animals, creepy-crawlies (reptiles, insects, etc.)
Day 6: Humans
Day 7: Nothing (the Gods took the first day off anyone ever did)
Note that there are days , evenings , and mornings before the Sun was created.
Here, the Deity is referred to as Elohim , which is a plural, thus the literal translation, the Gods . In this tale, the Gods seem satisfied with what they have done, saying after each step that it was good .
ANY ONE WHO BELIEVES IN THESE WORDS AND ACCEPT THAT THESE INFORMATIONS ARE COMING FROM GOD, AND THEY ARE TRUE, AND IN THIS AGE !, THE 21ST CENTURY !, IS FOR SURE LACKING THE ABILITIES DO DIFFERENTIATE BETWEEN THE TRUTH AND THE FALSE, AND THAT IS THE WORST THING FOR ANYONE TO BE IN SUCH A STATE OF MIND.
Saying all that, it does not mean that there are other parts of the Bible which brought to us the true words of God. Moses words and teachings are from God, and Jesus words and teachings are from God and they represents THE WHOLE TRUTH, and we should follow them and keep them in our hearts.

A: The Quran Says that Other Religions are Cursed by Allah
Buddhists in Thailand, Jews in Israel, Christians in Indonesia, Hindus in India... Why is Islam at war with every major world religion, when none of these religions are at war with each other? Part of the reason is that the Quran is specific about the inferiority of other faiths (see 48:28) and the hatred that Allah harbors for their people.
Although it is common for Muslims to become upset about anyone “insulting” their religion, here is what the Quran says about Jews and Christians:
The Jews call Ezra a son of Allah, and the Christians call Christ the son of Allah. That is a saying from their mouth; (in this) they but imitate what the unbelievers of old used to say. Allah's curse be on them: how they are deluded away from the Truth! (9:30) (See also Bukhari 8:427), one of the last things Muhammad ever said on his deathbed was "May Allah curse the Jews and Christians.”)
The Quran specifically addresses Christians, Jews, Polytheists (Hindus) and atheists:
Christians are blasphemers (5:17, 5:73) who have invented a lie about Allah (10:68-69) by ascribing partners to Allah (ie. the Trinity). Inventing a lie about Allah is the worst of sins (7:37, 29:68) and for this reason Christians are condemned to Hell (10:70). Although one (early Medinan) verse seems to say that righteous Christians will go to heaven, this is abrogated by later verses that make it very clear that Christians must cease being Christian (ie. reject the Trinity) or suffer eternal torment for their beliefs (5:72-73).
Jews are also cursed by Allah (5:13), in one of his final pronouncements. The Quran goes on to assure Muslims that Jews are wicked (4:160-162) – so wicked, in fact, that they have somehow managed to do the impossible (18:27) and alter the word of Allah (2:75). Jews are “fond of lies” and “devour the forbidden” (5:42).
The Quran assures believers that Jews and Christians have “diseased hearts” (5:52). Allah even takes credit for the enmity between them (5:14). Only Jews and Christians who submit to Islamic subjugation and pay the Jizya are protected in this world (9:29 & Ibn Ishaq 956).
Hindus are polytheists. Although Muhammad didn’t know any Hindus (and neither did Allah, apparently) the Quran still manages to lay the groundwork for the 1000 year ethnic cleansing campaign against the Hindu people that is estimated to have taken tens of millions of innocent lives. In Islam, polytheists are worse than all other religion. Those who join idols (14:30) or false gods (11:14) to Allah also invent a lie about Him (29:17) and will burn in Hell. Even believing in other divine entities along with Allah is an unforgivable crime (4:48, 40:12).
Atheists believe in no god, which is even worse than believing in the wrong one (Muhammad and his successors had atheists put to death - Bukhari 84:57). Merely questioning the existence of Allah is a testament to one’s impiety (25:21), even as Muslim narcissim is encouraged in the Quran. Muhammad always answered probing questions merely by telling the inquiring party that they would go to Hell if they didn’t believe in him (36:49-64). The Quran discourages Muslims from intellectual inquiry (5:101-102).
Anyone who gives up his religion is a “perverted transgressor” (3:82). Perverted as well is anyone who denies Allah (40:63) or does not believe Muhammad (2:99). Freedom of conscience does not exist in Islam. Muhammad clearly prescribed the death penalty for apostates (Bukhari 52:260).
While contemporary Muslim apologists often speak of “dialogue” (meaning a unilateral arrangement in which they tell you about Islam while you listen) the Quran speaks of Jihad instead:
Listen not to the unbelievers, but strive (Jihad) against them with the utmost strenuousness. (25:52)
What would be the point in hearing anything a non-Muslim has to say... or even talking with them for that matter? Allah has already sealed their hearts and condemned them to Hell:
As for the Disbelievers, Whether thou warn them or thou warn them not it is all one for them; they believe not. Allah hath sealed their hearing and their hearts, and on their eyes there is a covering. Theirs will be an awful doom (2:6)
For those wondering why Allah would even make infidels if their ultimate destination is Hell, Muhammad said that the purpose of some (Jews and Christians, at least) was to take the place of Muslims, so that they would not suffer there (Sahih Muslim 6666).

First , open your mind and think to what I am coming to say to you , that “YOU DON’T REALLY KNOW THE TRUTH ABOUT THE ISLAM RELIGION OR ABOUT THE QURAN”
Second, Picking few words or a phrase from 6636 phrases, without understanding the whole subject, and the history of why it came, and what it represents by the whole subject is not an honest way. Those who use this type of attack against the Islam religion are following the same pattern which been used by all people who try to defend their own religion, and it is the same throughout the history.
The Greeks abused the Roman , and the Roman abused the Egyptians , and the Hindu abused the Buddhist, and the Jews abused the Christians, that is a small example to what happen in the past from Krishna until Jesus, more than 3000 years of hate, man slaved and abused man because there was no perfect laws, and the laws were maid to serve only a group of people , [so if the Jews are the chosen people of God, then that mean the others had no right ?], [and the Christians believe that only those who believed in Jesus as God are saved, so what happen to the rest?] , and everyone try to protect his own religion, right or wrong, and paint an ugly and bad picture about the others religions.
From the time when Islam came 1400 years ago the attack on this new religion and it is people never stopped, first by the surrounding Atheist tribes, then by the neighbors Jews and Christians, [you should read the history , not only for Islam but also of the Christianity], that grew by the time , and all that didn’t stop Islam from growing, AND EVERYONE WORRY ABOUT HIS OWN RELIGION !!!, and today every known religion joined hands and in undeclared war against Islam keep their ugly attack.
Just imagine that the Jews with the Christians who hated each other for 2000 years became a partner to attack Islam and the Muslims and now are joined by the Hindus and the Buddhists who been slaved and abused by the Christian for hundreds of years, even the blacks who been slaved and hated in all of their life and for thousand of years by the Jews , the Christians and all other religions and all white man are attacking the religion of Islam , the FIRST religion which gave them their freedom and make them equal to the others.
BILAL is one of the first black Muslim, and he was the first man to stand on top of the first mosque to do AZAN [call for prayer]. That is a an example of equality in Islam.
Did you ever watch the HAG , when more than 2 million men and women , black and white from every nation in the world meet in Mecca for pilgrimage and join together , walking side by side in very simple clothing, the poor and the rich, none is higher or lower in a status, but all are as equal .

A: The Quran says that other religions are cursed by Allah.
Before answering that, I will ask you a question:
- Do you know what is differences between , “GOD”- “ DIEW” - “ALLAH” - “ELI” - “ELOH” , or any other names people use to describe their gods?.
“GOD” is an English name, only used by the English speaking people, who call themselves Christians.
“DIEW” is a French name, only used by the French speaking people, who call themselves Christians.
Other nationalities, as the Russian, Polish, Romanian etc. , use different names for god while they are all Christian .
“GOD”, “DIEW”, and all others created names NEVER been mentioned or spoken by Abraham, Moses or Jesus, because they spoke either Aramaic or Hebrew languages.
While the Hebrew, and Arabic languages are just branches from the Aramaic, but the truth is , that the Arabic the closest to the Aramaic , and the differences only came in the dialect. For example, the Australian , the Irish, the American, and the English all speak the same language by with different dialect, and the same goes for all major languages. You should know this fact.
The truth is that, in the history of mankind the names for god came in thousand different form, there are as many name as there are languages, and not only that but gods take so many different form, and the following are some examples:
- For the Buddhist, “Siddhattha Gotama” is worshiped as the “Lord Buddha”, and Gotama himself did not ask his follower to worship him.
- For the Hindu, there are countless of gods and goddesses , and for some Hindu believe ‘everything is god’[rat, cow, elephant etc.].
- For the old Greeks, there are many for gods and goddesses, and the same for the old Romans.
- For some still living today, the sun, the fire etc. regarded as god.
-For the Christians, Jesus is God, even Jesus himself said, “THE ONE AND ONLY GOD...THE ONLY TRUE GOD”, but the Christians cut the one God into three persons etc.....
ALL THE ABOVE gods ARE THE CREATION OF MAN. Early Christian and the Jews always regarded such a thing is BLASPHEMY, and the people who worshiped others than “ELI....ELOH....ALLAH” been cursed not only by the Quran, but also by the Bible and the Gospels.
LUKE 19:27 [Jesus said] “But these enemies of mine, who did not want Me to reign over them, BRING THEM HERE AND SLAY THEM IN MY PRESENCE.
THE JEWISH LAWS:
Isaiah 13:15 Everyone who is overtaken will have a spear put through him, and everyone who goes in flight will be put to the sword.
Joshua 6:21 And they put everything in the town to the CURSE; men and women, young and old, ox and sheep and ass, they put to death without mercy.
Joshua 10:37 And took it, overcoming it and putting it and its king and its towns and every person in it to the sword: as he had done to Eglon, he put them all to death, and gave it up to the CURSE with every person in it.

The truth is, that the Gospels and the Bible, Jesus and Moses and every previous messenger, CURSED not only the other religion, but everyone who do not believe in “Eli” or “Eloh” period, and not only they stop by cursing them but they kill everything, men, women, children and their animals too.
While the Quran said:
5:32 ...whoever kills a soul unless for a soul or for corruption done in the land, it is as if he had slain mankind entirely. And whoever saves one it is as if he had saved mankind entirely.
2:190 FIGHT in the way of Allah THOSE WHO FIGHT YOU BUT DO NOT TRANSGRESS. Indeed, Allah does not like Transgressors.
VVK, CAN YOU UNDERSTAND THE DIFFERENCES BETWEEN THE TEACHING OF THE QURAN AND THE BIBLE/GOSPELS ?.
Take the hate from your hart, and use the common sense, the logic instead.
You did talk about Buddha knowledge of the creation, but you did not bring not even one example of his words !!!.
The truth is that no man on this earth from 3500 years ago until the time of Galileo and after, know the facts about our solar system or our universe as we know it today.
Buddha, Krishna, Abraham, Moses, Jesus and Muhammad all of the they knew that the earth is flat and it is the center of the universe, and they had no idea about the BIG BANG or the EXPANDING UNIVERSE, because such knowledge ONLY came by using very advanced instrument, and scientific methods.
So the Quran is not the words of Muhammad, but the words of the one who knows the creation, and when the information came in the Quran before 1400 years telling us how the universe created, and it is the same as what the science prove today, that prove the Quran is the words of God.
Q- 21:30 Have those who disbelieved not considered that the heaven and earth were a joined entity, AND WE SEPARATED THEM. [THE BIG BANG THEORY]
Q-51:47 And the heaven WE constructed with strength and Indeed WE ARE ITS EXPANDER. [the expanding universe-by Hubble]
Q- 21:33 And it is HE who created the night and the day and the sun and the moon; ALL HEAVENLY BODIES, IN AN ORBIT ARE SWIMMING. [our galaxy and all the others in this universe with billions of stars, and even every rock big or small are going in orbit]
1400 years ago GOD told us this:

[of course, after time we came to know these facts, and there are so many of those knowledge given to us in the Quran, but for sure those who hate Islam will try everything to deny them, or to switch the truth, and VVK is a clear example.

A: A modern English translation of the Quran describes the creation of the universe as follows:"We have built the heaven with might, and We are Steadily Expanding it."51:47 [3] Earlier English translations like for example Ahmed Ali, The Noble Qur'an, Pickthal, Shakir and Yusuf Ali never specify the expansion as a process that is still going on so it seems to be an addition after the expansion of the universe became a generally accepted scientific fact.

The Quran came In Arabic, and it is very hard to translate the Arabic, or the Hebrew, or the Urdu, or Chineese laguages and many other languages , word by word to English, or to French, or Spanish, if you are smart enough, you should know this fact.
There are words in Arabic and Hebrew which have many meanings and depend on how it been used, and in what subject, and that goes for the Chinese languages too, for example:
Samvartasthayik-alpa....Vivartasthayikalp-a- ....Suddhavasa and Brhatphala ....
Can you tell the equivalent English word for the above words [word by word] ?
Abhirata-buddha land [Land] ....VaidËryanirbhåsa land [Land]
LAND - solid part of earth's surface; ground, soil etc. [Oxford Dictionary]
Also by this definition which came in the O/D , it can be any other land on any other planet from the trillions of solid rocks and planets in the universe. But it will not be on the stars [suns] or the planets which are mainly formed of gas .
Today there are maps for everything on earth and in the universe, So, can you tell me in which land is Buddha-land and the others lands ?
Going back to the Quran translations:
My language is Arabic, and I do understand every word of the Quran, so, I will try to write the Arabic verse in English form, then translate them word by word:
The verse in Arabic:
Wa- [And], L- [The] ,Sama'a [Heaven] , Baneinaha [Constructed - build- it] , Be [With]- Eiden [Hands/power/strength],
Wa [And] , Inna [We Are] , La- [Its] ,moosio'on [Expander]
And that is Sam translation, word by word, plain and simple.
And the Quran mentioned another state of the universe developing after the Big Bang , when it was in state of gases, and that is before the existence of the stars and the galaxies.
Quran 41:11 Then HE [Allah] dierected Himself to the Heaven while it was smoke...
NASA:
Until around 400 million years after the Big Bang, the Universe was a very dark place*. There were no stars, and there were no galaxies.....
[The Big Bang created all sort of particles and gases [SMOKE], and because of it, the universe was a very dark place.]
The whole meaning of all these examples that Allah [God] is telling us that He constructed the heaven by His power and He is expand it. That was the message for all people at all ages. Allah gave us the facts of how the universe formed, from the time when everything in the universe was a joined Entity , and He Separate them (21:30), and how the universe looks like after He separate its entity, and when it was a smoke , and told us that He is Expanding the universe, and the Quran also mention the end to it, by examples and not by date or time.
From Buddha teachings:
Therefore, the period from creation to extinction of the universe
in Buddhism is about 13.7 billion years in accordance with modern cosmology.
That is completely wrong, because if 13.7 billion years from creation to extinction according to Buddha, then we are right in time for extinction, since the age of the universe according to NASA and all the scientific groups, and all the scientists, all over the world who brought out the figure 13.7 as the age of the universe from the Big Bang until this time. Let us read NASA’s findings.

Explanation: The above sky map tells us the universe is 13.7 billion years old .

When a star like our own Sun nears the end of its 10 billion year life, it expands up into a red giant.
If you look at those topics on the above page, you will find a lot of information about what may happen in the VERY distant future. The Sun should burn normally (though gradually getting hotter) for the next 5 billion years or so...
VVK, .......The next 5 billion years ADDED, and the result is 13.7 + 5 = 18.7
That is the end of OUR SUN ONLY, after 18.7 billion years.
In this period of time [13.7 or18.7] many stars like our sun already came or will come to the same fate but the universe will be still going. LOSING MILLIONS OF STARS IN THE UNIVERSE WILL NOT BRING IT TO IT IS EXTINCTION.
I hope you accept the work of NASA as the best scientific work today, since NASA the only one who brought a man to on the moon, and sent 2 rovers to the planet MARS , and mapped the whole universe.

I Live in Canada [since June 14 / 1980], but I am an Australian Citizen till now.
My son is living in the State, since 1993, where he receive his MD , and get married there,and his wife [MD too] is an American/Irish and catholic, and my grandson is American born in 1999 in Sprigfield Massschusetts.
They congratulate us on the First of July, and we congratulate them on the Forth of July.
As we are a Muslim /Christian family we do celebrate in both, the EID and the CHRISTMAS .
By the way, My son neighbors [Jewish family] for ten years moved to Florida before three years, but they kept their strong relation by visiting each other every few months to live under one roof for few days, this thurday they are invited by their neighbor parents to spend 5 days on an island, in Connecticut. [That is going for few years]
My grandson and Morgan are more than only freinds, that is what make their parent and grandparent build stong relationship, built on love and respect.
That is an example to how the people should live .
