A: Even though I read the Jesus Family Tomb and it indictated that Judah's remains were in his ossuary and he had died young, couldn't it at all be possible that Mary Magdelene was pregnant at the time of the crucifixtion and after giving birth Joseph of Arimethia could have brought the child(grail/sangreal) to Avalon to be raised in safety with no knowledge of parentage? The decendants could have inherited the rare spiritual ability to connect with the Divine and see and comminicate with The Virgin Mary and Jesus, just like the people in my above question who suffered and were receptive and humble and served God all their lives.

A: The raising of an individual to the status of "sainthood," if that's the word you're used to, is, in my opinion, based solely on THEIR OWN deep devotion to the Divine, and does not depend upon religious figure necessarily.

Within Islam, Hinduism, and other religions, you can find such people. I have met them myself--deeply spiritual people who have what the Muslims call "true dreams"; who have visions of Muhammad, Krishna, Jesus, etc., etc.

These visions, I believe, are a gift that God gives them, as God knows that such visions would sooth their souls and make them happy, sending them into ecstasy. St. Francis was, indeed, one of those individuals, no doubt about it.

As regards descent from Jesus, anything is possible. But, again, the attainment of spiritual visions and experience is not relegated to those who believe in Jesus. Well, that's just my 2 cents.

A: The origins of the lineage could go way back to a time when tribes were closely connected and there were less humans in this world.I believe that it is a God-given gift meant to guide humanity and is not limited to just one faith. It could be a recessive trait found in all humans.

A: Hi Panluna,

The ability to connect to the Divine might possibly be genetic, or maybe not.

In my system, all is a continuum from Imagination to Sense. Imagination is pure creativity unbound and would include a direction toward a monotheistic source. Sense is established structure and locks us all down.

Perhaps some human sub-groups or families would tend towards more imagination compared to others.

The realization of G-d I think ias a matter of attitude. Genes can only provide traits not specific ideas. Useful traits would be patience, tolerance, love, acceptance, understanding, faith, forgiveness, etc.

It seems to me that ANYBODY can choose to develop these. And that is the immense grace of His message.
