Q: I guess i question the DNA proof because i am not being given enough of it. The church can prove eucharistic miracles b/c of DNA. They can prove the blood type of Jesus is AB. Why can't they prove this? Why is this so complicated?
I guess i really don't believe this to be true, b/c of my Catholic background. I believe in the ressurection and such.
If Jesus was married, so be it. If he had a child then he had a child. This is not something that the church says is not possible! Why would this be shocking information? Why can't Jesus be human as everyone else?

A: Problem. DNA is not PROOF. It's evidence. Not Proof. Evidence is never proof. And this particular DNA can hardly be called evidence at that. It's too lacking. No one has ever PROVED Jesus' blood type was AB, they can only say it was a probability given his likely ethnicity.
Eucharistic miracles? C'mon. The church can't prove these were true miracles. Some one could have bitten their tongue, or popped pigs flesh in their mouth before accepting the host. The church can declare them to be miracles all day long, but they can't PROVE it.
By the way, the Catholic church absolutely DOES say it is NOT possible for Jesus to have been married or had children. I don't know where you, as a Catholic, got it that it's not something they say is not possible. Where have you been? The Catholic church has never, not once, changed their position on this.
