First, it shows ONE color map of Israel with the WEST BANK-GAZA- AND THE GOLAN HEIGHTS all as part of Israel. That means this, the Jewish state plans to take all, NOT TO SHARE with the Palestinian people.
Second, the actions which the Israelite conducted since it was created prove the fact that they wanted all and not to share.
confiscating land, and destroying homes, and savagely killing people, and building colonies inside the Palestinian West Bank and Golan, and using all the methods to make the life of the Palestinian in their home a HELL to force them to leave, and that is not a humane act but a barbaric act similar to those done before many thousands of year ago.
Third, let us look at what the newspaper bring from information:
Natural population growth in Israel that was partially canceled out by negative growth in the Diaspora resulted in a net increase in the past year of 70,000 Jews, according to data released Thursday by the Jewish Agency ahead of Rosh Hashana.
There are 13.3 million people around the world who define themselves as Jewish and who do not belong to any other faith.
Jewish Agency Chairman Ze'ev Bielski said the data proved that a TANGIBLE DANGER OF ASSIMILATION was hanging over the Jewish people .
The survey was conducted by Prof. Sergio Della Pergola from the Jewish People Policy Planning Institute and the Harman Institute of Contemporary Jewry at the Hebrew University.

God promise can be seen clearly in the following numbers:
The Arabs who are in part the children of Ishmael, their number INCREASED to reach 295 Millions in 2002, and 330 Millions in 2008, an increase of 35 Millions in only 6 years, and that happen in 1400 years.
On the other hand the Jews and after 3500 years reached 15 Millions , WHY ????.

Hi Sam. I read the above post a while ago. I did not have time to return to it. I'll try to over the Christmas break. Tonight, I was channel flipping. On one of the French channels here in Quebec, they was a documentary on the representation of Arabs in films in North America.
It said that after the 2nd World War, 3 things contributed to the negative representation of Arabs in films : a) the petrollium monopoly; b) Iran's seeming arrogant behaviour; c) the creation of Israel and the ensuing conflicts in the eastern Mediterranean region.
I've been watching reports on the conference on climat change.
A key issue, say news reports, is the refusal by India and by China to impose on themselves a requirement to adhere to laws that protect the environment. Poverty is the deterant.
It amazes me that religion and population control seem to not even be on anybody's radar in these planet-saving discussions.
I know I sound like a broken record, but religious and cultural individualism, combined with population explosion issues
are the true cause of the pressure humans are putting on the planet's
ecosystems. Yet, we all seem to not even see these 2 issues as part of the equation in saving the ecosystems of the planet.

In my post I brought two work of writing:

That is an Israeli and a Jewish newspaper. You cannot call that "anti-semitism"
2- The words of Jesus as been written in Matthew gospel 23:33/35 -- 23:3.
And I will add to those:
"Jerusalem, Jerusalem, who kills the prophets and stones those who are sent to her ! How often I [Jesus] wanted to gather your children together........" 23:37
But HE answered and said, [JESUS SAID] , "I WAS SENT ONLY [ONLY...ONLY ] TO THE LOST SHEEP OF THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL [THE HOUSE OF ISRAEL]." 15:24
No one can say that what is written in the gospels [the words spoken by Jesus and written by Matthew] are "anti-semitism".
Jesus words do not describe only the period of His time while among them but He describe the long history of the house of Israel and for thousands of years, [THE BLOOD OF RIGHTEOUS ABEL TO THE BLOOD OF ZECHARIAH,].
Please go back and read carefully what is written by Matthew in his gospel.
Jesus was sent ONLY to the Jews "the house of Israel", and in His messages He called them SERPENTS , VIPERS, THE PROPHETS KILLERS, and He mentioned the places and they are in JERUSALEM, SYNAGOGUES, TEMPLES, ALTARS.
When Jesus said all that about the house of Israel, was He telling the truth or not ?, and who condemned Jesus and was behind His death sentence ???.
Betty, If you claim that the post which I wrote and which mostly include the writing of the gospel by Matthew of Jesus words about the house of Israel are "ati-semitism", that makes the words of Jesus and the writing of Mattew are ANTI-SEMITISM and should not be read or writen and it is better to be taken out from those holy books to make the supporter of the house of Israel happy.

Thank you for your words of friendship on the Prayer page and for your prayers for me as I try to line up a new contract... It is a stressful time, job wise.
As for Palestine and Israel, I too dislike the "We were here first" game.
As for Palestine and Israel, I too disline the "God gave us this land" argument.
To walk that land is to know that the Palestinian is in his home.
I struggled with the creation of the State of Israel.
Parts of the film by Mr. Jacobovici, The Jesus Family Tomb, make it clear too that first century bone boxes are clear evidence that the land was also home to the Jews.
In much the same way that Juda and Israel, the ancient kingdoms, were rooted together, when one visits Petra, its ancient sacrificial places, one senses that pre-Palestinian and pre-Jewish peoples have common sacred roots and rituals.
The elderly Palestinians and descendants of Jews living in Palestine before 1947 are a disappearing breed. They are a fading witness to the truth of harmonious, side by side living in that ancient land.
Carter, Obama, and others are more balanced in their views of how the land can solve the problems caused by the creation of the State of Israel and the displacement of Palestinians. When I visited Jordan, the Capital city of Amman, one soon sees how many Palestinian were displaced as a result of the post-WW2 settlements.
The King of Jordan was on ABC on Sunday morning, interviewed by Christiane Amanpoor. Did you see the interview?
Amanpoor moved to ABC TV a few months ago.
Her new show is called "This Week".
The King was firm in his expression of a wish that the policy of the government in Tel Aviv be constant...
Israel's Prime Minister, Netanyahu, is quoted in an article, saying he knows there are painful choices ahead.

I- found that Palestinians knew much more about the Bible, about the Old Testament than do my friends from North Africa. Natural, I suppose.
But, because I got to know Palestinians before North Africans, it surprised me.

"It is a stressful time, job wise."
I do understand that, because I been in this situation many time, "job wise" .
Also, and while my wife is suffering from all sort of illnesses in the last thirty year, in the last two years she been suffering a lot, and up to now she been to three specialist, and a new one to see in July, a "Cardiologist", the other specialist who transfer her, think that the left side of the heart need to be examined.
Before few days I wake up like a drunk, and hardly I could walk , and that lasted for nearly an hour, with less next day, and my doctor asked for a lot of tests, which I did on Friday. I feel 90% better now, but I am woried not about mysel but about my wife which needs me a lot.
Indie, please pray for my wife and me.
Before writing this few lines, I thought to check on what comes in the Gospels and the Quran about the , "PRAY" and the "PRAYERS" .
Luke- 6:12 It was at this time that He [Jesus] went off to the mountain TO PRAY, and He spent the whole night IN PRAYER TO GOD.
{ Jesus PRAYERS as I understand is no more than part of His worship to God, as it had been done by all the people who believed in God before Him}
Matthew - 22:41/42 ..... He [Jesus] knelt down and began to PRAY, saying, “ Father, if You are willing, REMOVE THIS CUP FROM ME; YET NOT MY WILL, BUT YOURS BE DONE."
{Here I understand, that Jesus beside His prayers in worshiping God , He also PRAY asking God for help. And I do believe that God answers His pray and saved Him.}
Let us look at what came in the Quran:
Quran - 40:60 AND YOUR LORD SAYS, “CALL UPON ME; I WILL RESPOND TO YOU.”
Quran - 2:186 And when My servant ask you, [O Muhammad], concerning Me - Indeed I AM near. I respond to the invocation [calling upon in prayer] of the supplicant when he calls upon Me. So let them respond to Me [by obedience] and believe in Me that they may be guided.
Quran - 10:12 And when affliction touches man, HE CALLS UPON US, whether lying on his side or sitting or standing; but when We remove from him his affliction, HE CONTINUES AS IF HE HAD NEVER CALLED UPON US to remove an affliction that touched him.....
Quran - 29:59/60 WHO HAVE BEEN PATIENT AND UPON THEIR LORD RELY. And how many a creature carries not its [own] provision. Allah provides for it and for you. AND HE IS THE HEARING, THE KNOWING.
1- OBEDIENCE TO OUR LORD, GOD
2- PATIENT
3- ACCEPT GOD'S WILL
That will bring peace and tranquillity in this life to all those who believe in God, and that God has His own plan for us.
Abraham, Moses, Jesus, and Muhammad, those whom we believe that they are prophets and messenger, they did not plan anything in their life on earth, from the day they were born to the day they died, all their life been already planed in advance and before they were born, and so the life of every living things on this earth.

I liked the quotes from both the Bible and the Quran.
Thank you for news of your health.
I pray that your dizziness was only passing. An ear infection can affect our balance. I pray your malaise will pass soon. I pray that your wife's doctors will be able to help her.
Sam, I shared with you that I watch Christiane Amanpoor's report on Sunday mornings at 9, on ABC.
I wish to share with you that I have also learned much from another Sunday CNN show. This one is called GPS (Global Public Square).
GPS is hosted by Fareed Zakaria. Today, he interviewed Prince Al-Waheed of Saudi Arabia. I was much interested to hear the interview. I learned more about Saudi Ariabia's royal family and about some of the views of the Prince on economic issues and social issues.
He seems to be a man interested in helping all economies to grow.
I also learned from Fareed Zakaria that the real 'punch' of the speech by President Obama earlier this week, with respect to the so-called "Pre-1967 border" in Israel, had more to do with trying to put the breaks on Palestinians presenting to the UN in the fall their 'independance', so to speak. It had less to do with where the borders lay back then, or where they should lie.
Since I had not heard any recent US leader refer to the Pre-67 borders, my ears had perked up as soon as I heard the speach. In my mind I was thinking that halting the Jewish settling on disputed lands (the West Bank) was the intended message and purpose of mentioning pre-67 border. I think I might be partly right.
When Netanyahu stated that the Pre-67 borders are indefensible, I wonder if he means that there are no natural boundaries, such as mountains? I am not clear on what he means by "indefensible"... Netanyahu, it would seem, was saying what he said, while in the US, more to gain support politically back home in Tel Aviv.
The other guest this moring of Fareed Zakaris was Tom Friedman of the NY Times. He supports the halting of Jewish settlements.
In listening to Mr. Friedman, I realized that though I know a bit about the Mediterranean basin and the countries that circle it to the east and south, I still have much to learn.
What is happening in the region is so new and unexpected.
...I still think that exegesis and the work of historians, population control, and more "regionalist economic development" is what will contribute to finding solutions for many countries.
Well, I need to get some rest if I am going to work tomorrow.

As for the interview of the king of Jordan by Christiane Amanpoor, I did not watch it, and as for the interview of the Saudi prince Al- Waheed by Fareed Zakaria I miss it, while I was waiting for it. I do try to Watch GPS every Sunday if possible.
