Q: Deconstructing the Second and Hopefully Last Coming of Simcha and the BAR Crowd
Cast of Characters- Short Bios
A. J. Cameron, award winning film maker who for some unknown reason decided to make a film on the world of Biblical Archaeology- Producer
B. Simcha J. Canadian film maker who produced the documentary on the James son of Joseph, brother of Jesus ossuary which was deemed to be a forgery by the Israel Antiquities Authority and other experts. The criminal trial is still in progress and SJ testified in Dec. 22, 2005 on behalf of the defense. He is producing and directing a series entitled The Naked Archaeologist’ in which he stars. He is not an archaeologist nor does he have any creditability within the profession.
C. The Biblical Archaeology Review crowd hereafter referred to as the BAR crowd. This is a collection of individuals who have been deeply involved with BAR, mainly textual scholars who pose from time to time, when convenient, as archaeologists. Several appear prominently both in the Hebrew and English version of the film.
D. The films ‘experts’ several of whom hold academic positions with proven track records in every field except Biblical Archaeology. Most experts however have no creditability within the profession. Charles Pellegrino is an example of this. His past books are The Ghosts of Atlantis, Ghosts of Vesuvius, Rtn to Sodom and Gomorrah, and Unearthing Atlantis. The first two deal with psychic phenomena while the last two deal with mythical places. He co-authored the book as well as appears from time to time in the film.
E. Experts II, those individuals and colleagues who appear in the film, totally unaware of the premise of the documentary, all of whom I have contacted are totally opposed to the evidence as presented, out of context as well as edited in such a way as to give the false impression that they are in agreement with the film. Seems we are more difficult to fool.
F. The Others- a host of individuals and colleagues connected to the profession whom have not only been supportive but have supplied much of the information for the viewers guide. To them, I am indebted.

A: Theyve got these guys on tape saying what they said. If their getting wet feet now, i suspect pressure on them from who knows where.
' Experts that have proven track records in every field except biblical archeology, but have no credibility in the proffession"
What's that supposed to mean?
"Individuals that appear in the film Unaware of the premise of the Documentary" Did they not have to sign a release for being in it? Did they not know what they were talking about?
" Edited in such a way as to give the false impression that they are in aggreement with the film" Well, They are the film!!

A: sadinoel, I think you're too enamoured with your need to bash the filmmakers in the guise of what you perceive as humor, or even a twisted sense of "justice." If you're a follower of Jesus, then you know he taught us to deny self (the ego). Your post above comes from nothing but EGO.
May I gently but firmly point out that you have just made of yourself a not so nice example of the hypocritical error committed by many "Christians" (not all), unconsciously, that illustrates they don't understand what rebirth in Spirit truly means, nor do they practice His teachings of tolerance and compassion.
The blind lead the blind; leave the dead to bury their dead. Blind, asleep, dead = Unconscious: thinking and acting from ego, not Spirit, but believing they think/act from Spirit - that's what Jesus was referring to.
Everyone should do a reality check - pinch yourself and ask, are you truly awake in Spirit - or just dreaming you are awake, still mired in your ego?
Each one of us is on a journey of spiritual growth. Whether you agree with the filmmakers or not, making this film is likely part of the filmmakers' journey, just as your being here is part of your journey (same applies to me and anyone else here - the soul wants to learn and grow). If Spirit rules our hearts and minds (rather than ego/lower self), we honor each soul's journey - do not criticize, jugdge, make fun of or bash another, for you don't know what that person's soul (of God for that matter, if you prefer) intends for that person to learn on their journey. And that goes for everyone. Judge not lest ye be judged.
The film is what it is. You don't have to like it or agree with it, but bashing the filmmakers is out of line, and not what most decent, spiritually-minded people would consider "Christian" behavior.
Sorry, sadinoel, I'm not attacking or being unkind; rather out of "tough Love" I'm just holding up a mirror for you to see yourself.
Peace to you, blessings, Love and Light on your journey, and to all.
