Q: Does anyone know the religious background of the experts making these claims "The lost Tomb of Jesus"? I'm a Christian myself but it appears trying to talk to other Christians about this they tend to shy away and I get a lot of people asking what is the religious background of the people claiming they may have found the remains of Jesus family.

A: Hi, Sam W,
Our friend Panluna gave you the right answer when she said, "They are members of a scientific team,very well educated and experts in their chosen field of work."
The scientific knowledge which lead us to the truth, does not depend on the people colour, or sex, or religion.
The truth is the truth no matter who come with it and prove it in a scientific way, and not in a philosophical way. Do we reject a scientific discovery if it comes by Hindu or Muslim or a non beliver ?, or do we reject the truth because it came from the jungle of Africa and the Amazone ?.
The tomb been found and it is a real, the place is Jerusalem, where Jesus died, and "hundreds [ HUNDREDS] of tombs that have been uncovered since the 1970s. Yet only now has it been identified as the Jesus tomb. "...
"Of all the thousands [THOUSANDS] of ossuaries pulled from those tombs, only about 20% bear inscriptions. In the case of the Talpiot tomb, six of them—60%--had inscriptions. This was an elite family. Greek, Hebrew, Aramaic, even Latin, were all represented in the burial cave. "
Then came the names:
1- “Yeshua bar Yosef.” Translated, it reads “Jesus son of Joseph.” This is very rare. Out of all the inscriptions catalogued, only one other “Jesus, son of Joseph” inscription has ever been uncovered.
"The first inscription, written in Aramaic (an ancient dialect of Hebrew), "
{Jesus and His family spoke Aramaic & Hebrew}
{From the THOUSANDS only TWO had the inscription of "Jesus son of Jseph"}
2- Miriam,” in English, “Mary.”
"Finding a Latin version of a Hebrew name inscribed phonetically in Hebrew letters is rare. Only eight other such inscriptions have ever been identified. "
3- “Matia”.
"This is the Hebrew original of the English “Matthew”. It is not known whether the writer of the Gospel was one of Jesus’ Disciples, or a member of his family."
4- “Yose”.
"THIS IS A VERY RARE RENDERING, a nickname for the Hebrew “Yosef”, like “Joey” to “Joseph” in modern English. The Gospels tell us that Jesus had four brothers: James, Judah, Simon and Joseph. The “Yose” INSCRIPTION FROM THIS TOMB - IS THE ONLY SUCH AXAMPLE OF THIS NAME ON AN OSSUARY {That is from the THOUSANDS of inscription, in HUNDREDS of tombs} inscription from this tomb is the only such example of this name on an ossuary. In the Gospel of Mark, the earliest Gospel, JOSEPH, BROTHER OF JESUS, IS NOT CALLEDCALLED "JOSEPH", BUT YOSE."
5- “Mariamene e Mara”,
"an endearing form of the name “Mariamne.” This is the only inscription found in the tomb written in Greek"
"Professor François Bovon (Harvard University) has determined that Magdalene’s real name was “Mariamne.”
{There is only ONE Mary Magdalene , who been with Jesus from the begining to the end}
6- “Yehuda bar Yeshua”.
"Translated, it means “Judah, son of Jesus”.
"This small, child’s ossuary may have held the mortal remains of the son of Jesus and Mary."
Dear Sam W, It is impossible to find in Jerusalem , and among the hundreds of tombs another tomb with six of these name put together. It is ONE chance in 30 millions to to get the 6 numbers from 49 numbers in the a lottery ticket [ 6/49 ], and the chance of getting 6 numbers [names] from 200 nunmbers [names] used in that city put in one tomb is impossible.
