A: What about the weave ?
Have you seen weave-comparison results?
Weave-comparisons between the S of Turin and a know 1st century shroud yeild interesting results :
- the weave in the known 1st century shroud is straight ;
it is your basic " up and down" weave. the threads are
at 90 degree angles with one another;
- the weave of the threads of the shroud is " V " angled.
The SofTurin is not 1st century.
With good eyesight, or a weak magnifying glace, if one looks at the weave of a pair of quality jeans, the angled "V" weave in jeans is visible.
The fibers of the Shroud of Turin are "V" weaved.
I am satisfied that the SofT is not 1st century.

A: I never thought the Turin shroud was real.The fragment of cloth found in Jesus's ossuary was the one his bones were wrapped up in.Furthermore the image on the Turin shroud was of a much older man than the 30+ years Jesus was when he was crucified.It could actually have been produced to be used as a prop for a program illustrating the Gospel story.Many people were illiterate and paintings,carvings in stone and wood decorating chuches and "passions' plays were performed and used by the early and midieval Church to illustrate Bible stories.Some of earliest paintings are found in the caves in Anatolia where the early Christians hid.Since we are scrutinizing this aspect with a scientific magnafying glass I just thought I would add my theory to this reflecting pool of thought.

It makes life very easy if you choose to conclude prior to having collected ALL the evidence.
The first time I drew a conclusive certainty, was after 32 years of study. Less than that is obviously less reliable. Due to not believing even what I see occur before me, I noticed at a young age that MOTION seemed bizarre indeed. At bed time I would lie there thinking about motion and eventually I did figure out what was really going on. That was followed with the constructing of a geometric representation of my understandings, and then the use of it to create mathematical representations. Many years later, I discover that the equations that I had created in darkness, were identical to equations known as Lorentz Fitzgerald Contraction Equation, the Time Dilation Equation, the Lorentz Transformation Equations, and the Velocity Equation. I had n o idea what you were talking about.
After a web search, I have concluded that you are a believer
in Torah or Bible codes.
Bible code believers see secret messages hidden in texts through the ELS (equal lettering sequence) method.
This coding was featured in the movie Davinci Code.
There were marvelous circular patterns in ancient literature.
I'll grant you that. But these patterns were simple tools to facilitate memorisation. Before there was pen and paper and scribe, there was memorisation.
Your belief system is fine for you. It is too complexe for me.

Actually, I do not lean toward beliefs. That is why I managed to figure out the mechanics of reality, via NOT simply accepting what was believed to be true by others.
There is a gap between a belief and the actual truth, thus a belief is a belief. If the axis of your mind is oriented in-line with beliefs / disbeliefs, then you have chosen not to be looking in the direction of truths.
This may then lead to choosing not to believe in Bible Codes, etc.. This leads to overlooking the truths, where ever they may be.

Scholar-s- can be experts. That is why they are often useless.
Truth is everywhere. If you confine yourself to a specific field of expertise, then you are simply erecting a spike in a certain small area. However, since you become elevated in this area to a level that is above that of the norm, you become recognized, you become a somebody, but you also displace yourself from the truth that is everywhere and therefore retard your form of thinking that is required to relate to the all.
If however, you decide to spread your interest laterally such that you can see the basics of the complete big picture, you can gain a form of knowledge and understanding that is priceless. Unfortunately, it does not elevate you above the norm in a manner that can be see by others since what you know of does not even seem to exist at all as far as others are concerned since they know nothing of it.
Instead they only give applause to those who have withdrawn from the all such that they may spike in only a specific area.

YOU misunderstand : the articles that I read are written by women and men who read dead languages, women and men who are historians, women and men who are archaeologists, women and men who are art historians, women and men who analyse language, women and men who rely on the input of dozens of specialists from dozens of fields.
YOU base your cryptic messages on what? Can you name an actual scholar? Can you say what it is you are hinting at?
I have asked you to be clear.
You insists on continuing to hint at hidden knowledge.
If I want hints of hidden knowledge, I'll read Dan Brown.
