Title: Where are the bones??? •

Q: Hi there,
After watching the movie, I was wondering, what the hell happened to the bones?
Back in 1980 when the tomb was found, Israeli archeologists burried the bones from the ossuairies elsewhere, outside Jerusalem.
What are people waiting for exhume those bones and test DNA and everything? If the bones were burried later, government should have registries for this and we should know where they are.
What are you people thinking of this?
Is the Talpiot appartment complex now infested with christian and enlightment fanatics? lol

A: I'm glad you blogged in.Have you been getting alot of curiosity seekers? As far as I know from the book the Jesus Family Tomb the authorities have a special burial place set aside for the citizens of antiquity that were found in those tombs. You are so fortunate to live in that area.If you find out where it is please let me know.Thank you

A: @ Panluna
Sorry, I do not live near the Talpiot tomb, I live in Canada. I was only asking myself like you do about the fanatic activity in the area of the tomb, and are the bones will be exhumed?
The film has a weird ending, but I guess people are still working on the case. Like many others I have questions about what's up to date....

A: I'm glad you let me know.I'm still looking for the blog on this forum I read earlier that mentioned someone finding the tomb during WW2 but they didn"t excavate at that time.I guess every one forgot about it until the bulldozers showed up.

A: In an ideal world the bone custodians would have been armed with crisp notebooks and fresh pens, good watches, and would have been eager, dedicated, yet superbly disciplined.

A: I wonder if it is possible to retrieve DNA from the famous shroud. It could be compared with the DNA which was tested for the film. If they were to match, one could confirm both the bones' and the shroud's validity. It is probably impossible to make sense of it by now, though.

A: Yes, they did. They tested it with the DAN of ''Mariamne'' to see if there was a link. There was not. The scientific in the movie concluded that if the women would be burried with the family, it would mean that they were married. They could not be father/son, father/daughter, nor brother/sister, neither mother/sister, mother/son.
That concludes DNA of Jesus son of Joseph and DNA of Mariamne Mara have been sampled.
