Hello, guest

Q: They claim to find Jesus' Tomb. They say archaeologists, forensics experts, statisticians, etc. have COME TOGETHER to decipher "one of the greatest mysteries of all time"

sounds more like a circus advertisement to me.

Look at the motives...Follow the money...Do your own research, believe me there are tons of debates, theories, findings...you name it. The truth will reveal itself, no one will have to go digging it up.

I have a Question:
WHY, IF YOU SAY YOU PAY ATTENTION TO CLOSE DETAIL, DO YOU HAVE ON A WEB SITE INTRO PAGE A CLAIM THAT "An incredible archaeological discovery in Israel changes history and shocks the world. Tombs with the names The Virgin Mary, Jesus of Nazareth, Mary Magdalene and Judas, their son, are found and an investigation begins."

HUH?
DID YOU SEE THAT
"...Tombs with the names The Virgin Mary, Jesus of Nazareth, Mary Magdalene and Judas, their son, are found..."

OK...THEN WHY INSIDE THE SAME SITE IT SAYS;
"Ossuary 80/505 was inscribed “Maria” – a Latinized version of the name “Miriam,” rendered in Hebrew letters. AND Ossuary 80/500: “Mariamene e Mara” – “Mariamne, also called Master”

BUT WAIT THE INTRO PAGE SAID "...The Virgin Mary..."
AND "...Mary Magdalene.." NAMES FOUND

HOW MISLEADING (TISK TISK TISK)

Oh...and if this were a court of law (and since they use legal nomenclature)
CREDIBILITY is something you need. I found a little dent in that armor. I'm sure with your own searching you will find some too.

I HEAR THERE IS A RESEARCHER WHO WAS AT THE ORIGINAL DIG IN 1980 WHOM DISAGREES WITH CAMERON/JACOBOVICI

2Pe 3:2-4
"I want you to remember and understand what the holy prophets said long ago and what our Lord and Savior commanded through your apostles. First, I want to remind you that in the last days there will be scoffers who will laugh at the truth and do every evil thing they desire. This will be their argument: "Jesus promised to come back, did he? Then where is he? Why, as far back as anyone can remember, everything has remained exactly the same since the world was first created." NLT
2Pe 3:9
"The Lord isn't really being slow about his promise to return, as some people think. No, he is being patient for your sake. He does not want anyone to perish, so he is giving more time for everyone to repent."NLT

Repent! (makers of this film)
For the kingdom of heaven is at hand.

A: MorDeKhai,
I think that it is important to keep an open mind on this topic. I understand that you are very religious and that this evidence might seem scary to you, but I think that one of the principles of the Christian religion is to keep an open and understanding mind of others, and to be tolerant to their views. Couldn't this evidence in fact support your belief system as further proof of Jesus' existence? Perhaps after you see the documentary, you will feel differently about the topic.

A: There was a quote on a news article I read about this movie.

"people would rather believe in the ridiculous rather than the miraculous"...

think about what that quote really means...

A: ranthi,

Sometimes it is easier to believe what you are told than to make a decision on your own.... either good or bad

A: No one seemed to anwser my question......lol
...but like I said:
"Look at the motives...Follow the money...Do your own research, believe me there are tons of debates, theories, findings...you name it. The truth will reveal itself, no one will have to go digging it up.

Thanks for your comments anyway.

A: MorDeKhai,

Do you need an answer? I believe the answer is always in the search. While I agree these semi-claims are provocative, they are what they are. I see that they provoke a new search for Christ, whether you believe need to follow the gospels by word or are intrigued enough to make it a "quest". We seek the same thing. Peace in the after!

A: Mordekhai,
Keep your heart open only to the Holy Spirit. If Daniel's 3 friends had kept their minds open to their surroundings and accepted them, they would've bowed to Nebuchadnezzar's golden statue...but they did not. Keep your heart open only to the Holy Spirit. Man can come up with many theories but no one can hide the truth of the holy scriptures. That's why it has taken so much sacrifice and so many years for us to have the truth THE HOLY BIBLE - The Living Word of God.

A: The evidence is not SCARY!! Are you blind? The truth of the matter is YOU don't understand the whole situation. Keeping an open mind is always something you might want to consider doing.. Example: Do you keep an open mind about whether or not mudering someone is wrong or right? Do you keep an open mind about whether or not you will let someone hurt a close relative to you and then get away with it? Your reasoning is foolish and very shallow as well. I think that you ought to at least consider what people like MorDeKhai is saying. After all you might want to keep an open mind???

A: Forgive me please, I meant to say, "Keeping an open mind is something that you might NOT want to always do...."
