Q: Pellegrino made an error in his statistic that actually would strengthen his argument. Figuring out the percentage of Jesuses and Josephs in Jerusalem and subsequently the percentage of Jesus, son of Josephs, he failed to take into accout that the number he got would include both "Jesus, son of Joseph" and "Joseph, son of Jesus". Therefore, the odds are twice as high as he got for this combination of names. I surprised his university statistician did not catch this.
